Schools and groups

Chess instruction planned around your group.

Coach Ben is available to discuss workshops, short series, and group lessons for schools and community organizations in the Warner Robins area.

Discuss a group

Possible formats

Start with the setting, not a package.

The useful format depends on the players, group size, goals, schedule, room, and support already available.

Introductory workshop

A one-time session that introduces the group to chess through explanation, examples, and active play.

Short lesson series

Several connected sessions with enough repetition and practice for the group to build confidence.

Ongoing club support

Instruction or planning support for a recurring chess club, shaped around the setting and available resources.

Planning questions

A few details make the first conversation easier.

  • Player ages and approximate group size
  • Chess experience, if known
  • What you want the group to get from chess
  • Possible dates, length, and location
  • Boards, sets, or other resources already available

Good places to ask

Schools, libraries, clubs, and community groups.

If your organization is not listed, that is fine. Share the setting and the idea. Coach Ben can tell you whether he is a fit or suggest another direction when possible.

Have a group and an idea?

Send the details you already know. You do not need to design the whole program before reaching out.
